Hi,
we are now allowed to show things from Arndts new Shader that can fake SSS behaviors like translucency and subsurface light transportation. The Shader will be available in two version. A normal version that is for free (and very good anyway!) and a pro version where you can tweak a lot of things. You can set 3 Stages of colors for the thickness of a material and can use backlighting and and and. A lotta cool stuff to tweak the shader.
This is a channel shader. The shader calculates the thickness of a material and the depth of light transportation.
The results are great.
here are a few examples:

This shader is just great and the pro version is worth any penny!
The shader will be soon available. Arndt is just finishing it. The Pro version will be available for about 10 €. So really small amount.
Me as a programmer can really say. I don´t have a problem supporting this shader because this is really great and I wanna thank Arndt for the effort he had put into this shader.
Be prepared, you will like it! :)

P.S.: Maybe somebody can translate this to french?!
