Comportement curieux: avec le moteur de C4D, prenons un cube édité, balançons dessus une texture en frontal, générons les UVW, voilà la texture frontale fixée sur le cube.
Même matière avec Vray (juste une photo dans le canal diffuse): je balance en frontal sur le cube, je génère les UVW... et pam, la texture est fixée portnawak...
D'où vient-ce ce comportement étrange? Quel moyen pour le contourner?
Edit: ça semble visiblement un bug connu, mais comment le contourner alors? Je ne comprend pas la manip suggérée par Stefan:
Check "generate UVW coordinates" and " assign UVW coordinates" not right work with vraymaterials.
-this is a known bug by maxon, hope they solve it in next release, right now it only works with c4d material, so you have to use a c4d dummy material and then repalce it woth the vraybrdf
