i don't know where else to post,
but recently i am dealing with displacement channel experiments.
the first example is a simple plane & a disc object, transformed into ashtrays.
the second example are variations of a cadre shader applied into a square plane object.

it seems that c4dtextures.com takes ages to upload shaders.
i hope you find it usefull.
ps: if you scale down the size of the square planes, also reduce the height of the displacement, else you'll get bizarre effects.
